Regions' Cup 2024: NAT San Marino drawn with Turkey, Hungary and Slovenia
The draw for the new edition of the UEFA Regions' Cup 2024 was held this morning. The international competition for amateur teams will take place next year – on dates still to be confirmed – but today NAT San Marino discovered its future opponents. It will be the representative sides of Turkey (top seeds in the draw), Hungary (second pot) and Slovenia (fourth pot) that will take on the Titans in Group 6 of the Intermediate Round of the next edition of the tournament.
In the ranking, San Marino occupy 20th place (out of 35), thanks in part to the points earned – and the excellent performances – in the last edition of the Regions' Cup, held in Bulgaria in October 2022. While it has yet to be decided which of the four nations will host the Intermediate Round in 2024, it is already certain that the NAT San Marino side will once again be led by coach Luigi Bizzotto.
