Regions' Cup, second match for NAT San Marino tomorrow against the Bulgarians

It is the eve of the second match for NAT San Marino, who tomorrow return to the pitch in the UEFA Regions' Cup currently taking place in Albena (Bulgaria). On the same pitch in the small resort just a stone's throw from the Black Sea where the opening game against the Irish representative side was played, Luigi Bizzotto’s team will tomorrow face the Bulgarian amateur side South West Bulgaria at 16:00 local time (15:00 in Italy).   “The lads are in good shape,” commented head coach Bizzotto, “and we’ve also recovered those who had a few niggles. This is also thanks to our medical staff, who are of an excellent standard and look after our boys in the best possible way. As for our opponents, we’ve seen they have good physical attributes and some important individual players. But we are no less,” the coach continued, “if we play as we know how and as we showed in the first game, we can make our presence felt. The match against the Irish has given us experience which, together with clarity of thought and courage, will be fundamental ingredients to put in a strong performance.”   Having started and stayed on the pitch for the full ninety minutes against the Irish, Nicholas Arrigoni is also ready: “The group has reacted well to the defeat; we know it could be a tough match, but we’ve got what it takes to compete. We watched some footage of their first game and we’ve identified what could be their weaknesses. It will be a hard-fought match,” said the defender, “we will need to stay focused and avoid the mistakes we made in the previous match against the Irish.” Group 6 of the intermediate round of the Regions' Cup currently has the Irish amateur representative side top on three points, followed by the Bulgarian and Romanian teams on one point (they drew their opening game 1-1), with the Titano side at the bottom on zero.
