"San Marino Football 2022-2024: European Ecstasy" now on sale

"Il calcio sammarinese 2022-24: Estasi europee" is the tenth publication of the Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio and, for the first time, retraces football and futsal in San Marino over a three-year period. Inside the book you will find events, statistics, photos and figures from the 2021-22 season through to the current campaign. The book is the first to be written entirely by the Media Office of the San Marino FA, coordinated by Luca Pelliccioni – co-author of the volume together with his counterparts Alberto Menghi and Giacomo Scarponi. The activities of the FSGC, its clubs and affiliated associations are described in 784 full-colour pages, through statistics and photos, without overlooking any area or sector: from domestic to international competitions, including the women’s and youth game, right through to futsal. There is also space for football governance, business and commercial innovation, as well as organisational structures and national and European projects that the FSGC has joined or launched over the past three years. "Il calcio sammarinese 2022-24: Estasi europee" introduces several innovations compared with previous editions. The main theme, as suggested by the tenth title in the series, is international activity. Sammarinese clubs have been participating continuously for a quarter of a century in the UEFA competitions reserved for them, while for the national teams this three-year period has been unprecedented: from the debut of the newly formed Women’s Under-16 side to the successes of the San Marino National Team in the UEFA Nations League, which captured the attention of some of the world’s leading media outlets. For the first time, the volume includes coverage of the Under-12 San Marino Championship finals, as well as historical overviews and complete statistics for players and coaches in UEFA club competitions, and for the Under-21 and futsal national teams. A richer and more comprehensive volume, to leaf through and relive three years of unparalleled sporting satisfaction which culminated in the promotion of the San Marino National Team to League C of the UEFA Nations League, thanks to two wins and a draw in matches against Liechtenstein and Gibraltar. To make this historic first even more unforgettable, the FSGC has chosen to dress the book in the very shirt that delivered the greatest joy in the National Team’s history: the cover, like the pattern on many of the book’s pages, reproduces the design of the Titani’s kit. The graphic concept, layout and cover design are all made in San Marino, curated by Studio Monnom.
