San Marino football mourns the passing of Massimo Giorgini

The Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio and the Associazione Sammarinese Arbitri learned yesterday of the passing of Massimo Giorgini, a longstanding figurehead of the Republic’s refereeing community for more than twenty years. Formerly an assistant referee, he continued to work with ASA as a Referee Observer – a role he had held for the past three years. He was also currently a member of the board of the referees’ association, serving as a committee member. FSGC, ASA and the entire San Marino football family come together in sharing the family’s grief and wish to extend their deepest condolences.
