San Marino to host Regions' Cup and U17 European Championship qualifiers

The First Qualifying Round for the upcoming Under-17 European Championship will be held in the Republic of San Marino. The revamped format, which will unfold over two rounds (autumn and spring), will in its initial stage also involve the age-group teams of Italy, Wales and Norway from 5 to 11 November next. This will be the first of two consecutive weeks of international football hosted in San Marino, with the following week (13-19 November 2024) seeing the turn of the Intermediate Round of the next UEFA Regions' Cup. The best amateur regional representative teams of Slovenia, Türkiye and Hungary will take on San Marino's NAT side for a place in the final tournament. San Marino's Under-19 National Team, meanwhile, will travel to Finland to play the preliminary qualifying round for the European Championship in their category. The Biancazzurrini, drawn with Czechia, Switzerland and Finland, will head to the Nordic country from 9 to 15 October next.
