Serie A referee Antonio Rapuano at ASA’s weekly technical meeting

On the occasion of the Technical Meeting held yesterday evening at the San Marino Stadium, the Associazione Sammarinese Arbitri had the pleasure of welcoming Serie A referee Antonio Rapuano. Accompanied by the president of the A.I.A. Rimini Section, Francesco Martinini, he took part in the usual group training session on the athletics track at the San Marino Stadium, before engaging the many attendees with a high-level technical lecture. Using footage from matches he has officiated, Rapuano focused in particular on the mental strength required to manage a game and on the fundamental importance of teamwork between the referee, assistant referees and fourth official to ensure effective match control. Thanks to the clarity of his explanations and his remarkable openness to discussion, Rapuano captured the audience, to whom he left a valuable legacy not only from a technical point of view, but also on a human level.
