“Sfida per la Vittoria”: Italian and San Marino politicians take the field for research
The Associazione Oceano Blu, under the patronage of the UEFA Foundation For Children and the Secretariats of State for Tourism, Education and Culture, Health and Social Security, Industry and Sport, is organising the charity event “Sfida per la Vittoria”, inspired by the story of a young girl from San Marino affected by a rare genetic disease: Vittoria, after whom the initiative is named. The event will unfold over three separate moments: on Friday 27 June, at the San Marino Stadium (6:30 pm), there will be a three‑way football tournament featuring the Italian Parliamentary National Team, the Consiglio Grande e Generale National Team and the Italian Mayors National Team; later, again on Friday 27, there will be a gala dinner with charity auction, at 9:30 pm at the Kursaal Congress Centre; finally, on Saturday 28 June, the two‑day event will conclude with a scientific conference entitled “Rare diseases, CAMK2B: from research to treatment – A Bridge to the Future”. The funds raised during the Friday and Saturday events will be donated by the Associazione Oceano Blu – founded by Andrea and Alessandra, Vittoria’s parents – to support scientific research into CAMK2B.
