TITANI.TV – note on the midweek Coppa Titano fixtures

Dear fans and lovers of San Marino football, those of you who tuned in to the Titani.tv streaming platform for this midweek round, dedicated to the first legs of the 2022-23 Coppa Titano BKN301 Round of 16, will certainly have noticed some issues affecting the service. We would like to clarify what happened, starting from the premise that the FSGC’s partners involved in the project immediately took action to resolve the problems that arose – which, unfortunately, were more than one. During the Tuesday evening fixtures, the Auto-follow software for the automatic cameras (a system that enables the cameras to follow the play based on the position of the ball and the concentration of players in different areas of the pitch) displayed clear and recurring malfunctions, never seen before. Once the development company had been alerted, the issue was fully resolved in less than 24 hours – to the extent that the Auto-follow function was restored yesterday evening. Unfortunately, a new problem emerged during the Wednesday fixtures. As you will have noticed, over the course of the evening the matches were not fully shown live – some were cut off after around 30 minutes, with that portion of the game being replayed on Titani.tv without the possibility of seeing the remainder. In this case, the problem is linked to the internet connection provided to the cameras – which require a considerable average bandwidth. It is still too early to draw firm conclusions, as all FSGC partners involved in the live streaming project are currently examining the possible causes, with the aim of resolving the issue by tomorrow – ahead of the imminent BKN301 Campionato Sammarinese matchday scheduled for the weekend. This communication is not intended as a mere exercise in transparency, but above all as a way to assure all of you – dear San Marino football enthusiasts – that the San Marino Football Federation is working hard to develop a project aimed at making our activities accessible, usable and visible all over the world. Without it, as things stand today, the vast majority of football matches in San Marino would remain "in the dark". With renewed enthusiasm and driven by the desire to offer you a reliable, enjoyable and immediately accessible product, we can assure you that the FSGC and its partners have taken prompt action to resolve and prevent problems of this magnitude now and in the future. Aware of your esteem and trust, and confident in your understanding in the face of some technical issues that inevitably form part of new and innovative projects such as this one (at least for an organisation of our size), we look forward to welcoming you on Titani.tv for the upcoming fixtures in San Marino football – reaffirming that the service is completely free of charge, and that only a simple registration on the platform is required to access it.
