Titano Futsal Cup: Ruthless Murata, the trophy stays with the Bianconeri

Following last year’s triumph, Murata make no mistake and claim the Titano Futsal Cup 2025-26 as well. At the Multieventi the Bianconeri are ruthless, both going forward – 5-0 the final scoreline – and at the back, with Virtus again drawing a blank (no goals scored by the Neroverdi in their two league outings so far). Max Spada’s side start better, with Busignani trying his luck from distance and forcing Lonfernini into a good save. The deadlock is broken shortly after, though, when Busignani threads a vertical ball for Aruci, who in tight space manages to control and slot past Lonfernini. From scorer to assist-man: in the 6th minute the Bianconeri strike again thanks to a perfect ball from midfield that finds Moretti in the area, and he calmly beats the onrushing Lonfernini. Murata are still hungry and on 10 minutes Moretti intercepts and serves up a chance, but Lonfernini does well to close down and prevent the third. After a difficult start, Virtus try to show some attacking intent and, on the move immediately following the potential 3-0, it is Belloni who calls Protti into action for the first time of the evening. After a frenetic opening, the tempo of the clash at the Multieventi drops. Michelotti’s Neroverdi, however, begin to grow in confidence and push forward more consistently around Protti’s goal. The clearest chance comes on 20 minutes, when a superb long-range effort from Cevoli crashes against the post with Protti rooted to the spot. Murata also hit the woodwork through Moretti’s powerful right-footed strike on 24 minutes – with Lonfernini doing well to get just enough of a touch to divert it onto the post. Towards the end of the half the Neroverdi are the better side: first Pasqualini’s right-footer drifts just wide of Protti’s right-hand post, then the Bianconeri’s big keeper is again on hand to say no. The first half ends with Murata two goals to the good. Barely five minutes into the second half and Murata strike again: Belloni takes a short kick-in for Busignani who, as usual, loads up his powerful right foot and unleashes a shot on goal; Lonfernini fails to deal with it and the effort proves lethal for the Neroverdi keeper. After conceding a third, Michelotti goes all in and starts using the flying goalkeeper. Coming out of a timeout (44’) Virtus are dangerous again with a close-range shot from Zafferani, but Protti is monumental and saves once more. Murata bide their time and, on 48 minutes, could put the game to bed when Aruci wins the ball back, but on the ensuing shot Lonfernini comes to the rescue. Michelotti again calls for the flying keeper, but moments later the Bianconeri add a fourth with a shot virtually from their own area by captain Busignani, who finds an extraordinary trajectory to make it 4-0 (his seventh goal in the competition, more than anyone else). The San Marino striker soon tries again, this time Lonfernini is decisive, but Murata are relentless and a minute later they complete the 5-0 counter-attack, with Moretti setting up Felici, who cannot miss with the goal gaping. It is the goal that signals the curtain call at the Multieventi. Denis Aruci is awarded the Givova MVP prize as the best player in the final. Captain Busignani lifts yet another trophy for the Bianconeri and his Murata are now eyeing a treble.
