Two friendlies in seven days for the National Team, Under-21s host Gibraltar

A demanding week is taking shape for San Marino’s international activity, starting with the official friendlies that will involve Roberto Cevoli’s Titani on 5 and 11 June. The first fixture, in just over forty‑eight hours’ time, will see the Biancazzurri take on Slovakia at a neutral venue (Wednesday, 18:00). The match will be played in Wiener Neustadt, Austria: the side coached by Italian Francesco Calzona have qualified for UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany. It is a new test against a European national team for San Marino, after the March double friendly with Saint Kitts and Nevis. The squad will depart tomorrow from Bologna airport, heading to Vienna and then on to Wiener Neustadt. The eve’s activities are scheduled for the afternoon, starting with the press conference at 17:30. Half an hour later, the official training session will take place at the stadium that will host the friendly. The clash with Slovakia will be broadcast live on San Marino RTV, and will also be covered with live radio commentary on Titani.tv, available free of charge to all registered users of the platform.   After the Austrian trip, the Titani will host Cyprus at the San Marino Stadium. The match is scheduled for Tuesday 11 June, again with kick‑off at 18:00. This game will also feature live radio commentary on Titani.tv. While it is still too early to discuss call‑ups for the Cyprus fixture, selections are being finalised by Matteo Cecchetti, Head Coach of the San Marino Under‑21 National Team. The Biancazzurrini are about to face their Gibraltar counterparts in two consecutive friendlies. Both matches are scheduled for this week: Thursday 6 June in Acquaviva (15:00) and Saturday 8 June in Montecchio (12:00).
