U19 Futsal Euro: National Team depart for Gibraltar tomorrow
In the night the journey of the San Marino U19 futsal National Team will get underway. The young Biancazzurri coached by Matteo Selva, in his second international experience as Head Coach, will make their debut away from home. In fact, the previous two continental campaigns had seen San Marino act as host of the qualifying mini-tournament, which brought colour to the Multieventi.
Gibraltar and Montenegro will be the opponents of the Titans in the Preliminary Qualifying Round of the UEFA European Under-19 Futsal Championship, whose final tournament will be staged in Poreč, Croatia. The Biancazzurri will take to the court in the opening match of the group against hosts Gibraltar. On 19 January, at the Tercentenary Sports Hall and kicking off at 19:00 CET, San Marino will face their first test. The only team to play two games on consecutive days, Selva’s squad will meet their Montenegrin counterparts exactly 24 hours after their debut (20 January, 19:00).
