UEFA Futsal Champions League: Fiorentino in action in Bulgaria in August
The draws for the Preliminary Round and Main Round of the 2024-25 UEFA Futsal Champions League were held early this afternoon in Nyon. San Marino champions Fiorentino will start from the first step of the competition and have been placed in Group B.
The top seed in the group is already known and goes by the name of Futsal Minerva. The Swiss side will meet a team from San Marino for the fourth consecutive year, and for the third time overall it will be Fiorentino. The Rossoblù will be in action in Bulgaria from 20 to 25 August, as the mini-tournament will be hosted by national champions and home side Amigo Northwest. The group is completed by the Welsh club Pro Futsal Cymru.
The eight group winners from the Preliminary Round will progress to the Main Round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League, following the path reserved for clubs that have won their domestic league. As for Fiorentino’s group, the side finishing first will advance to Group 5, where Etoile Lavalloise and Stalitsa Minsk are already confirmed.
