Under 12: Spring Final on Saturday between Juvenes-Dogana and Fiorentino

The decisive day of the San Marino U12 Championship is fast approaching. After a thrilling regular season, split into two groups (White Group and Blue Group), it will be Juvenes-Dogana and Fiorentino battling it out for the Clausura title. Just as in mid-December, when Juvenes-Dogana came out on top, the two sides will meet again to determine – roughly six months on – whether or not the balance of power has shifted. Their performance in the regular season confirms them at the summit, with 43 and 37 points respectively. To put that into perspective, Folgore, third in the Blue Group, finished on 19 points. Moreover, their very recent head-to-head ended in a perfect draw. Juvenes-Dogana took the opening period, Fiorentino the last. The middle segment, meanwhile, finished 1-1. Were that scenario to be repeated, Serravalle’s club would be crowned champions thanks to their better regular season record. To claim the 2023 Spring title, therefore, Fiorentino will need to win one more period than their opponents – or even just one, provided the others end in draws. The match will be played at the Federico Crescentini Stadium in Fiorentino on Saturday 6 May at 17:45. The Juvenes-Dogana vs Fiorentino showdown will be the icing on the cake of an afternoon entirely dedicated to the final step in grassroots youth football for many young players. From 15:30 onwards, on the pitches set up at the Federico Crescentini, all the teams taking part in the San Marino U12 Championship will play in friendly triangular tournaments.
