Grassroots Youth Football - 20 April 2026

Under-12: Spring Tournament 2026 final on Saturday at San Marino Stadium

With the arrival of the Mini Calci and Primi Calci Tournaments, it is also clear that the football season – as far as the Grassroots sector is concerned – is drawing to a close. The two events dedicated to boys and girls in the Under-10 and Under-8 age categories will feature another round after last week’s, on Friday 24 (San Marino Stadium, from 19:30) and Saturday 25 April ("Ezio Conti" Stadium in Dogana, from 9:30).

On that same day, Saturday 25 April 2026, but at San Marino Stadium, the curtain will come down on the Spring Tournament of the San Marino Under-12 Championship, 2025-26. Competing for the category’s Clausura title – the first on offer within the football system of the Republic of San Marino – will once again be Juvenes Dogana and Cailungo Azzurro. The two sides, who contested the Autumn final on 13 December, will cross paths again on the Serravalle turf. Topping the standings after the twelve regular-season matchdays in the Blue Group were the Rossoverdi from Borgo Maggiore (44 points), while the team representing Serravalle Football Academy finished just a single point behind (43). Once more, a small margin of points was enough to keep Tre Fiori/Virtus (39) out of the title decider. The match, officiated by ASA match officials, will be played over four periods, each of which will award points according to the competition regulations (1 point for each period won, 0 for each period lost, 1 point each for a drawn period). Should there be, or remain, a tie, the following tie-breakers will be applied in order: a) overall goal difference in the final; b) overall league table position. No further criteria will be required, as in that case Cailungo Azzurro – regular-season leaders – would be crowned champions. Kick-off for the Spring Tournament final of the San Marino U12 Championship is scheduled for 16:30.

Saturday will not just be a celebration for the finalists, but for all the teams that have taken part in the Under-12 season – both in the White Group and in the Blue Group. From 15:00 onwards, on four small-sided pitches set up on the San Marino Stadium pitch, the teams in this age category from the football hubs of Cailungo, San Marino Academy, Scuola Calcio Serenissima, Serravalle Football Academy and Titano Academy will take part in friendly matches. It is the perfect way to say goodbye to a season full of emotion and fun, under the proud eyes of friends, parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents, while enjoying one last, thrilling encounter that will add a new line to the honours board of the San Marino Under-12 Championship.
