Under-16 National Team: squad list confirmed for the UEFA Development Tournament

The San Marino Football Federation announces the list of players called up to represent the Republic of San Marino at the UEFA Under-16 Development Tournament, scheduled to take place in Albania from 19 to 25 April 2025.

After holding their final pre-departure training session yesterday, the Under-16 National Team, coached by head coach Loris Alessandro Bonesso, set off in the early hours of this morning, meeting at 4:00 and then travelling on to Albania. A first training session is scheduled for 16:00 this afternoon to complete preparations ahead of the official debut. The Sammarinese Under-16 National Team will in fact make its bow tomorrow, Sunday 20 April at 11:30, in the opener against Kosovo, the first of the three matches on the tournament schedule. A working day on the pitch will follow on Monday 21 April, with a training session, before returning to action on Tuesday 22 April at 15:00 to face hosts Albania. The programme will then continue with two days devoted to fine-tuning, on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 April, during which the team will hold two morning sessions, both at 10:30. On Friday 25 April the schedule features the third and final match of the Tournament, with San Marino taking on Andorra at 11:30. The team will return to the Republic after the final whistle.
