Under-17 National Team in Bosnia and Herzegovina for Euro 2025 Round 2

After the fixtures played last November in the Republic of San Marino, the Under-17 National Team is ready to travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina for Round 2 of Euro 2025 qualifying. Following the recent change to the competition format for the European Under-19 and Under-17 national team tournaments, direct qualification for the final phase is now at stake in the spring. The top two teams from each Round 1 group have progressed to League A: Italy, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, England and Portugal have joined Albania, who will host the final tournament that will award the European title from 19 May to 1 June. The Azzurrini will arrive at this prestigious event as defending champions.

While the teams finishing bottom of their respective League A groups in Round 2 will drop to League B in the next edition, those already in League B – such as San Marino – are currently competing for promotion to the higher tier. In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are hosting the mini-tournament, Bonesso’s Biancazzurrini will face Belarus and Armenia. Their opening match is scheduled for Monday 12 May at 14:00 against their Bosnian counterparts, before taking on Belarus and then Armenia three days apart, both at the same kick-off time. The team will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina early this afternoon, shortly after lunch. The return to San Marino is set for Sunday 18 May, following the final fixture against Armenia.
