Under-19: Belarus awarded 3-0 win over Latvia
Round 1 of UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying will kick off tomorrow morning with the match between San Marino and Slovakia scheduled in Dogana. The game in Acquaviva between Latvia and Belarus, originally set for 11:00 tomorrow, will not be played. The Latvians, in fact, will not appear for their opening group fixture for political reasons (a Latvian national law prohibits national teams from facing Russia and Belarus). As a result, Belarus are awarded a 3-0 victory.
The schedule for the following matchdays remains unchanged, with all games kicking off at 11:00: on Monday 18th, Belarus-San Marino will be played in Dogana while Slovenia-Latvia will take place in Acquaviva; on Thursday 21st, again in Dogana, the Titans will face Latvia while Belarus-Slovakia will be played in Acquaviva.
