Under-19s, Norway pull away only after the break

A good performance from the Under-19 National Team coached by Loris Bonesso, in action in Skopje (North Macedonia) in qualifying for Euro 2023. The Titano side only gave way after the interval against Norway, who ran out 2-0 winners in the opening match of Group 10. In the first half the young Biancazzurri withstood the Scandinavians’ pressure and went into the break with their goal unbeaten. At the start of the second half, however, Norway broke the deadlock through Flataker (56'). The Titano side tried to stay in the game but, with just a few minutes remaining, Riccardi brought down Hjorteseth in the area: the referee pointed to the spot and Flataker converted to complete his brace and seal the final 2-0 scoreline for the Scandinavians. San Marino’s next match will be on Sunday at 13:00 against Serbia, who today beat hosts North Macedonia 2-1 (for the Balkan side, a brace from Marko Lazetic, the young AC Milan forward).
