Women’s football: UEFA Playmakers resumes with Disney film “Frozen 2”

Frozen 2 will be the next Disney animated film supporting the European football associations affiliated to UEFA in the upcoming autumn cycle of UEFA Playmakers. This project, dedicated to the development of women’s football, has achieved remarkable numbers in terms of participation and in bringing girls and young women closer to the world’s most popular sport. The aim is to offer a healthy, safe, fun and non-competitive environment in which to experience football for the first time, through the stories of Disney animated films – able to engage and unite.

The new UEFA Playmakers cycle organised in San Marino will kick off on Friday 19 September 2025 at the “Ezio Conti” Stadium in Dogana from 17:30. The event will continue for the following seven weeks, always on the same day and at the same venue.
