Women’s National Team: two official friendlies between November and December

Training time is not yet over, but the calendar of the senior women’s National Team now also includes the dates of the first two official matches. Between the end of November and the beginning of December, in fact, Giulia Domenichetti’s Titane will take on Liechtenstein and Gibraltar in friendly fixtures. Both games will be played at home, although kick-off times and venues have yet to be officially confirmed. What is already certain is that this double appointment carries huge historical significance for the Biancoazzurre, as it will mark the absolute debut of this team in an official match, with both fixtures having the status of a FIFA international friendly. San Marino–Liechtenstein will be played on Saturday 28 November, while the following week – on 5 December – the Titane will face Gibraltar. These matches form part of the build-up to the UEFA Women’s Nations League, in which the San Marino women’s National Team will make their bow in the new year. In the meantime, before returning to work on the pitch – which will happen during the October international window – the squad and staff of the senior women’s National Team will be received in Audience by Their Excellencies the Captains Regent on Thursday 10 September at Palazzo Valloni.
