Women’s team: part of the National Squad will play in Rimini

The focus of the women’s National Team is firmly set on next February, when the UEFA Women’s Nations League 2027 will kick off, preceded by a series of international friendlies that are still being finalised but will be scheduled for the autumn period. In short, the moment when things start to get serious – with official fixtures multiplying – is not that far away. And it is essential that the players arrive at that point in the best possible condition.

For this to happen, the day-to-day work carried out with their clubs is also crucial: for this reason, next season a section of the San Marino group involved with the National Team will be playing in the women’s Promozione championship wearing the colours of ASD Femminile Rimini Calcio – to whom the FSGC wishes to express its gratitude for the excellent opportunity provided. In practical terms, this opportunity means ensuring consistent game time – training sessions and matches – also for that group of San Marino players who are not part of San Marino Academy or other Italian clubs, but who must nevertheless be guaranteed the best possible conditions to approach their future international commitments at 100% of their potential. These aspects, too, are key to the growth of the women’s National Team project.
