Youth European Championships: San Marino U17 and U19 groups drawn
Italy once again features in the future of San Marino’s U17 National Team, who next autumn will make their debut in qualifying for the revamped European Championship in this age category. Joining the young Biancazzurri are their counterparts from Norway and Wales. From this year, the qualifying phase is split into two rounds (the first in autumn, the second in spring 2025): the second round will be divided into League A and League B, with the winners of the seven League A groups joining the host nation at the eight-team final tournament (for more details, click here).
Similar innovations are also on the way for the U19 EURO, but they will not come into effect before the 2026-27 season. For now, therefore, the current format remains in place: the Titano side have been drawn in Group 6 together with Czechia, Finland and Switzerland.
