Youth national teams: European Championship Qualifying Groups drawn in Nyon
The draws for the 2023-24 UEFA European Under-17 and Under-19 Championship Qualifying groups were held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon. The groups will be played in the autumn of next year and will also feature the San Marino national youth teams. As for the younger age category, the draw placed San Marino in Group 11. This group will have Italy as top seed and host nation; in the last week of October 2022 Italy will welcome the national teams of Greece and Northern Ireland as well.
With regard to the UEFA European Under-19 Championship Qualifying Round, San Marino has been drawn as host association for the mini-tournament. More detailed information will be shared over the coming months, in particular regarding the exact dates of the fixtures, which are still to be confirmed. Joining the Titani will be the Under-19 national teams of Czech Republic, Romania and Finland, listed here in strict seeding order.
Representing the San Marino Football Federation at the draw in Switzerland were Federal Technical Committee member Carlo Chiarabini and Youth National Teams Coordinator Massimo Censoni.
