Youth National Teams: Under-17s in Slovakia, Switzerland up next tomorrow

The Under-17 European Championship Qualifiers are back, a competition whose final tournament crowns new continental youth champions every year. This morning the team travelled to Slovakia, whose football association is hosting the Round 1 mini-tournament of this phase. In the afternoon, the first training session abroad for the players called up by Head Coach Alessandro Loris Bonesso – scheduled for 17:00. Tomorrow comes the opening match against their Swiss counterparts at the Spišská Nová Ves Stadium, with kick-off at 13:00. Three days later they will face the hosts in the only fixture to be played at the National Training Centre (17:00), while their final outing is scheduled for midday on Monday 3 November. On that occasion the young Biancazzurri will take on their peers from Bulgaria, before returning home twenty-four hours later.
