Zafferani and Grana at the FIFA Summit in Miami during the Club World Cup

General Secretary Luigi Zafferani and Vice President Simone Grana travelled to Florida, in the United States, to take part in the FIFA Executive Football Summit, held in Miami on 20 June. The meeting offered a unique opportunity to engage with FIFA officials as well as counterparts from confederations and national football associations around the world. During the event, participants discussed updates on FIFA’s flagship initiatives and its competitions, as well as on women’s football and development programmes. Naturally, the FIFA Executive Football Summit also celebrated the inaugural edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, currently being played in the United States. In this context, all participants attended Boca Juniors v Bayern Munich from the stands of Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on 20 June.
