Calcio Estate 2025 and draws, double date on Friday 18 July
On Friday 18 July 2025, in the Press Room of the San Marino Stadium, the FSGC event Calcio Estate returns – the gala at which the leading figures of last season will be honoured. At the end of the ceremony, proceedings will continue with the draws for the Campionato Sammarinese and the Coppa Titano bracket, thereby revealing the first fixtures of the new 2025-26 season.
The most prestigious prize of the Calcio Estate evening will naturally be the “Pallone di Cristallo”, awarded to the best San Marino player or resident: vying for the accolade are Alessandro Golinucci (Virtus), Samuel Pancotti (Folgore) and Nicko Sensoli (Tre Fiori). No less important is the “Trofeo Koppe”, reserved for the best “foreign” player (neither a San Marino passport holder nor resident on the Titano): the nominees are Tommaso Leon Bernardi (Tre Fiori), Loris Tortori (Virtus) and Marco Mazzotti (La Fiorita). As usual, the best coach of last season will also be recognised: the three-way battle for the “Panchina d’Oro” award is between Luigi Bizzotto (Virtus), Danilo Girolomoni (Tre Fiori) and Stefano Ceci (La Fiorita).
No nominations are required for the prizes for the top scorers in the Campionato Sammarinese and Coppa Titano: the league’s Bombardino d’Oro will go to Matteo Prandelli (21 goals in total for the Tre Fiori striker), while the cup award will be collected by Virtus forward Loris Tortori (4 goals). Also at Virtus, the winner of the “Assist Award” is already known: Ivan Buonocunto (who also claimed it last year) after a season in which he provided 17 assists for his team-mates.
As was the case last year, prizes will also be handed out for the best goal and best save of the league season: voting is still open on the website FSGC.sm in the dedicated section (https://www.fsgc.sm/vota-il-gol-piu-bello/), where it is possible to choose the best goal or save from the 30 selected clips (one for each matchday of the regular season).
From football the focus shifts to San Marino futsal. The prize for the best player – “Futsal Best Player” – will go to one of Danilo Busignani (Murata), Danny Gasperoni (Pennarossa) or Enzo Gabriel Molinas (Cosmos). The candidates for the “Panchina d’Oro Futsal” award for best coach are Massimiliano Spada (Murata), Settimio Novembrini (Pennarossa) and Roberto Penserini (Tre Penne). There will also be an award for the best Under-23 player: battling it out for the “Futsal Talent” prize are Thomas Celli (Juvenes-Dogana), Nicholas Cola (Tre Penne) and Gabriele Dolcini (San Marino Academy Under 19). The winner of the “Bombardino d’Oro Futsal” is already known: it is Murata’s Danilo Busignani who, thanks to his 64 goals over the season (only two more than team-mate Matteo Moretti), picks up the accolade for the fourth year running.
The Calcio Estate awards (twenty-three in total) will also cover the youth and women’s sectors of the San Marino Academy. For the “Top Woman” award, dedicated to the best player of the Women’s First Team, the nominees are Giulia Limardi, Martina Tamburini and Giorgia Miotto. As for the best young player (“Top Girl”), the contenders for the prize are Giulia Penserini (San Marino Academy Under 17), Carlotta D’Aguì (Women’s Primavera/Under 17) and Arianna Forcellini (Women’s Primavera/Under 17). Still in the youth sector, there will also be space for the award reserved for the best coach, the “San Marino Academy Best Coach”: the candidates in this category are Roberto Di Maio (Under 17 Nazionali), Giuseppe Frino (Under 16 Interprovinciali) and Filippo Zaghini (Under 17 women).
During the evening the “Golden Boy” award will also be presented, recognising the best San Marino Under-23 footballer: in this category the nominees are Alberto Riccardi (initially at San Marino Academy Under 22, then transferred in January to La Fiorita), Samuele Zannoni (Pietracuta) and Tommaso Benvenuti (Sassuolo Primavera).
In addition to players and coaches, there will also be room to honour club directors and/or staff members from San Marino clubs: the Career Oscar will go to a long-serving figure within Titano clubs, while the “Communication Award” is dedicated to journalists and media professionals. As in every previous edition of Calcio Estate, there will also be awards for the refereeing sector: in collaboration with A.S.A., prizes will be given to both the best 11-a-side referee of last season (“Fischietto d’Oro” – Golden Whistle) and the best assistant referee (“Bandierina d’Oro” – Golden Flag), as well as the best futsal referee (“Fischietto d’Oro Futsal”).
As mentioned, at the end of the Calcio Estate event – scheduled for 19:00 – the draws for the Campionato Sammarinese and the Coppa Titano bracket will be held. The format of both competitions will remain unchanged: in the league, the team that finishes first after the 30 regular-season matchdays will be crowned champions (followed by play-offs for 2nd and 3rd place), while the cup will begin from the Round of 16 (two-legged ties), with holders Virtus already qualified for the next round. The competition will then continue in a traditional knockout bracket all the way to the final.
