Calcio Estate and draws together again: event scheduled for 24 July

As it does every year, the appointment with Calcio Estate is back, the San Marino FA gala at which the standout performers of last season will be honoured. In two weeks’ time – on Friday 24 July – inside the Press Room of the San Marino Stadium, the 2026 edition will kick off at 19:00 and then continue with the official draws for the Campionato Sammarinese 2026-27 and the Coppa Titano bracket, which will officially launch the new football season on the Titan. The most prestigious award of the Calcio Estate evening will once again be the “Crystal Ball”, reserved for the best Sammarinese or resident player: the finalists are Filippo Berardi (at Tre Penne last season, now owned by La Fiorita), Mirco De Angelis (Folgore) and Mattia Sancisi (Tre Fiori). The “Koppe Trophy” will instead go to the best foreign player (non-Sammarinese by passport and non-resident on the Titan): vying for the award are Matthias Bonetti (Domagnano’s prolific striker, who moved to La Fiorita this summer), Joao Affonso (La Fiorita) and Matteo Prandelli (Tre Fiori). Speaking of goals and assists, the awards for the best scorers and assist providers from last season are already known: Bonetti, with his 28 goals, wins the Bombardino d’Oro for the league, while Marseljan Mema (at Tre Fiori last year) finished as the top scorer in the Coppa Titano with 4 goals. The “Assist Award” has already been secured by Joao Affonso of La Fiorita: the yellow-and-blue player provided no fewer than 15 assists (12 in the league and 3 in the cup) last season. During the evening the best coach will also be recognised: the candidates for the “Panchina d’Oro” (Golden Bench) are Stefano Ceci (La Fiorita), Danilo Girolomoni (Tre Fiori) and Manuel Amati (Domagnano). The “Duilio Felici” award, dedicated to the fairest coach in the league based on referees’ assessments, is already known: the winner is Antonello Mancini, who last season was in charge of Murata.

There will also be room for the goal and save of the year, with voting still open on the FSGC.sm website: by clicking the following link ( FSGC - Vota il miglior gol e la miglior parata del Campionato Samma (12/06/2026) ) you can watch the thirty clips (one for each matchday of the regular season) and vote for your favourite goal and save.

The “Golden Boy” award will instead go to the best Sammarinese Under-23 player: competing for the honour are Nicolas Giacopetti (who played for Pietracuta last year), Simone Santi (Domagnano) and Mattia Ciacci (San Marino Academy Under-22).

The event will not be about football alone. Plenty of space will be devoted to Sammarinese futsal, starting with the “Futsal Best Player”, the award for the best player of last season: the candidates are Danilo Busignani (at Murata last year, now at Pennarossa), Fabio Belloni (Virtus) and Matteo Chezzi (La Fiorita). As in football, futsal will also feature an award for the best coach: contesting the “Panchina d’Oro futsal” will be Massimiliano Spada (Murata), Matteo Michelotti (Virtus) and Roberto Penserini (Tre Penne). There will also be a prize for the best Under-23 player: the candidates for the “Futsal Talent” award are Michele Ercolani (Folgore), Gabriele Dolcini (Virtus) and Thomas Celli (Juvenes Dogana). Thanks to his 55 goals (48 in the league and 7 in the cup), Danilo Busignani will receive the “Bombardino d’Oro” as top scorer of last season (this is his fifth consecutive award as the Sammarinese sharpshooter). There will also be space and further awards for the youth and women’s sectors of San Marino Academy. The nominees for the “Top Woman” award – reserved for the best player in the Women’s First Team – are Martina Sechi, Elena Casadei and Sara Tamborini, while the award for the best young player (“Top Girl”) will go to one of Greta Paone (Primavera), Michelle Andreini (Under-17) or Cristina Carli (Primavera). The best coach across the entire youth sector will also be recognised: the candidates for the “San Marino Academy Best Coach” award are Francesco Rossi (Under-15 women), Davide Nicolini (Under-17 National) and Loris Bonesso (Under-16 National). During the Calcio Estate evening – as in previous editions – there will also be awards for the refereeing sector: in football, the best referee (“Fischietto d’Oro”, Golden Whistle) and the best assistant (“Bandierina d’Oro”, Golden Flag) will be honoured, as well as the best futsal referee (“Fischietto d’Oro futsal”). There will also be recognition for club officials and members of Sammarinese club staff: the Lifetime Achievement Award will go to a long-serving figure within Titan clubs, while the “Communication Award” is dedicated to journalists and media professionals.

At the end of Calcio Estate, proceedings will continue with the official draws for the Campionato Sammarinese and the Coppa Titano bracket – with the formats of the two competitions remaining unchanged from last year.
