Futsal, Cosmos keep up the pace: second win in a row in late fixture against Faetano

Cosmos continue their run as an unbeaten side. In the final late kick-off of Matchday 3, Franchino’s men claim a second consecutive victory after their opening-day draw and move up to 7 points, level with La Fiorita and just two points behind the leading pair Pennarossa and Murata. The match at the Acquaviva Sports Hall is unlocked almost immediately. Not even a minute on the clock and Mattia Menghi turns the ball into his own net to give the yellow-greens the lead. Faetano fail to find an equaliser and, close to the quarter-hour mark, concede again for 2–0, this time scored by Alberto Bologna. Despite plenty of time remaining, neither side will alter the scoreline again. Faetano suffer their second defeat in a row and remain on 3 points, together with Folgore (who had a bye). Cosmos also celebrate their first clean sheet of the season.
