Futsal: first win of the season for Domagnano

At the fourth attempt, Domagnano can finally celebrate their first win of the season. The Wolves defeated Cailungo 4-1 in the second late fixture of Matchday 4 and, by adding last night’s three points to the one obtained against Tre Fiori, they join the large group of teams on 4 points, which – in addition to the Giallorossi – also includes Virtus, Fiorentino and Juvenes Dogana. The game at the Acquaviva sports hall was unlocked on 15 minutes, when Sensoli struck from a corner routine. Before the break there was also De Bellis’ successful toe-poke for Domagnano’s 2-0, which became 3-0 at the start of the second half, when Menghi led and finished off a swift counter-attack by Gasperoni’s men. On 50 minutes Sensoli easily turned in Hidri’s assist, completing his brace and making it 4-0. The final change to the scoreline came from Sarti, who denied Domagnano their first ever clean sheet by beating Agostini with a precise angled finish. It was only a consolation for Cailungo, who suffer their second defeat in a row (third overall) and remain third from bottom, just one step above bottom sides Tre Penne and San Giovanni.
