Futsal: leading quartet live up to expectations
No surprises on the first Monday night of San Marino futsal in 2026: the top four keep rolling, maintaining their double‑digit lead over the first team in pursuit, Pennarossa, who themselves won in convincing fashion in a far from straightforward clash with Juvenes Dogana. Starting from there, the Biancorossi shared out six goals evenly across the two halves – keeping a clean sheet over more than 60 minutes of play. Only two names on the scoresheet: a brace for Gasperoni and a personal four‑goal haul from Maiani.
Murata did even better in the game played at the Multieventi. The Bianconeri came close to hitting double figures against Folgore, who found the net through Bacciocchi for a temporary 1-3 on 29 minutes. In the first half, which ended with that scoreline, Busignani (2) and Aruci had already made the scoresheet. Murata’s captain and San Marino international went on to finish with five goals to his name, while in the second half Moretti, Aruci and Gregnanin also contributed to increasing Folgore’s deficit to 1-9.
Double manita for Virtus and La Fiorita, who faced Cailungo and Libertas respectively. The Acquaviva club effectively wrapped up the points by half-time, leading 4-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Cevoli and a strike by Morganti. On 50 minutes Michelotti’s men even allowed themselves the luxury of missing a 10-metre free kick, and in the same minute they conceded to Meloni. The last word, however, again belonged to the Neroverdi, who scored once more through Belloni – this time clinical from ten metres. With a similar scoreline (5-2) La Fiorita got the better of Libertas and returned to winning ways after their previous goalless draw with Pennarossa. At the break Pietrangeli’s side held the narrowest of leads thanks to Franciosi, before Giuccioli and Cecchini produced the decisive surge on the scoreboard. The subsequent back-and-forth between Paolini, Tassitano, Saraga and Franciosi again did not alter the gap.
The tightest encounter was played in Dogana and featured Tre Fiori and Tre Penne. Despite their polar-opposite positions in the table, the Gialloblù stayed in the game right to the end – until Gamba finally closed it out. It was 0-0 at half-time, before Cola brought a sigh of relief to his team on 38 minutes by putting Tre Penne in front. As mentioned, Penserini’s men had to wait until the final minute of normal time to be sure of the win: captain Gamba’s 2-0 arrived bang on 60 minutes.
