Futsal: Murata dominate the big match, Tre Penne climb to third
Murata come out on top in the clou fixture of Matchday 6. With a 7-0 rout of La Fiorita, Spada’s Bianconeri tighten their grip on second place in the single group (extending their cushion over third from +1 to +3), while staying on the heels of leaders Virtus. De Angelis breaks the deadlock in Acquaviva on 10 minutes, then repeats the feat at the start of the second half, after Busignani had begun his own brace in first‑half stoppage time; the Bianconeri captain then completes it on 52 minutes. In the meantime, Zanotti and Mattioli had also found the net to make it 4-0 and 5-0 respectively, before Morri applied the final touch a few minutes from the final whistle. The side that take full advantage of La Fiorita’s defeat are Tre Penne, who overcome the Cailungo hurdle and move up to third place, pushing Pietrangeli’s Gialloblù down to fourth. Gabrielli opens the scoring after 2 minutes, then also takes responsibility for the 2-0 before Lotti drags Cailungo back into contention. The 2-1 scoreline, which holds until the break, is stretched in the 37th minute by Cola, who is then joined on the scoresheet by Rossi for 4-1. In the closing stages Gianni attempts to reopen the contest from the penalty spot. There will be no Rossoverdi comeback, though; instead, former player Gamba seals the Biancoazzurri’s return to winning ways under Penserini, while Cailungo are left to digest a second successive defeat and a slide down to 11th place.
At the same time, Juvenes-Dogana claim their first league win and climb up to 9th spot, drawing level with Domagnano (who play this evening) and leaping over San Giovanni, Faetano, Fiorentino and, indeed, Cailungo. The direct clash with San Giovanni ends in a heavy win for the Biancorossoazzurri. The score is opened by Simone Celli on 9 minutes; after him, Gatti runs riot with a hat-trick between the 19th and 23rd minutes. Cavalli from a 10-metre free-kick, Gianni and Thomas Celli then push Cellarosi’s side out to a provisional 7-0 lead, before San Giovanni finally hit back through Schiano. That, however, is not the last word on the match. Quaranta has the final say, rounding off the scoring for Juvenes-Dogana’s 8-1 win. Fiorentino are unable to build on last round’s victory. Cosmos take the points, extending their positive run and drawing level with Folgore on 8 points. No one manages to pull away in the opening fixture in Domagnano. Cervellini puts the Gialloverdi in front on 10 minutes, but Fiorentino reply on 32 minutes through Carlini. The goal that hands Cosmos all three points arrives a few minutes later, signed by Molinas.
The margin is only slightly wider in the top-versus-bottom clash between leaders Virtus and bottom side Tre Fiori, also played in Domagnano. Cavalli gives the Neroverdi the lead on 4 minutes, but Bugli’s team (the coach recalled in the days before the match in place of Galli) level within a few minutes through Berardi. On 26 minutes Michelotti’s men edge back in front, again thanks to Cavalli; then Stolfi, in stoppage time, wraps up Virtus’ sixth win from six. Pennarossa pass the Faetano test and are now looking very closely at the upper reaches of the table. Thanks to the 4-0 scoreline against the Gialloblù, the Chiesanuova side move up to 11 points, one behind La Fiorita (fourth) and two behind Tre Penne (third). It is Maiani (22') who gets his team’s attacking display underway. The direction of the match becomes even clearer between the 33rd and 34th minutes, when Verri and Oddone score in quick succession. Bacciocchi’s own goal on 40 minutes effectively ends the contest. There will be no further goals, but there is a red card for Fantini (straight red), further complicating the evening for Matteo Selva’s team.
With Libertas and Domagnano still to meet this evening in the late kick-off, this is the partial picture after Matchday 6:
