Futsal: rampant Murata make the Givova Super Cup 2025 their own
It proves all too easy for Murata futsal, who pick up exactly where they left off. After lifting the cup and the league title – as well as making a historic foray into Europe this summer – Max Spada’s Bianconeri win the Givova San Marino Futsal Super Cup with a resounding 11-1 victory over Pennarossa, claiming the first trophy of the 2025-26 season.
The San Marino champions come flying out of the blocks, with early efforts from Jamicic and Busignani as they find their range against Bizzocchi’s goal. The tempo quickly rises and Pennarossa also show themselves in the 7th minute through a determined move by Oddone, whose excellent ball across the face of goal finds no team-mate ready to apply the finish. The deadlock at the Multieventi is broken in the 8th minute: it is Jamicic, the most eagerly awaited player on court, who cuts inside with a feint onto his left foot and then beats Bizzocchi. Three minutes later (11’), the Croatian is deadly in tight space, again finding a way past Bizzocchi with his left from a tight angle to double the Bianconeri’s lead. Murata dictate proceedings and continue to press, but Pennarossa can rely on an excellent Bizzocchi, who keeps repelling the black-and-white attacks. First he denies Moretti from distance, then he pulls off no fewer than three consecutive saves from Aruci (twice) and Morri. The Bianconeri goalkeeper is decisive again on 22 minutes when he blocks Aruci’s close-range effort – teed up by the ever-influential Jamicic. Pennarossa are on the ropes and try to react: Ceccoli’s right-footed volley is a classy effort, flashing not far off target from Protti’s goal.
Before the interval, Spada’s side land a third hammer blow on Bizzocchi. A vertical pass from Busignani finds Moretti, who from the corner delivers a perfect first-time ball for De Angelis, arriving at the far post completely unmarked to tap in for 3-0.
Murata begin the second half in the best possible way, scoring and stretching their lead even further. Bizzocchi makes his first mistake of the evening in the build-up, and it proves costly as his pass is intercepted by Moretti, who calmly converts for 4-0.
Despite being four goals to the good, Murata push even higher and also play with Protti out of his goal. The move ends with a shot from Moretti, parried by Toccaceli; the number ten in red and white then plays it short to Angelini, who from long, long range lifts a magnificent lob for 4-1. But it is merely a flash in the pan, as Murata remain composed and in fact roar back. First De Angelis, from the by-line, squares for Aruci, who makes no mistake for 5-1. Only two minutes later, captain Busignani gets in on the act with one of his trademark free-kicks in the 40th minute. Murata do not take their foot off the pedal and on 43 minutes it is once again Busignani who makes it 7-1, this time from the penalty spot after Tamagnini fouls Moretti. The Bianconeri dominate and completely control the game. What’s more, in the second half of the period, they find the net four more times. The eighth goal comes from De Angelis, who, on a pass from Busignani, completes his brace from close range. In the following minutes – with Spada choosing not to risk Jamicic for the whole second half due to a physical problem – it is Busignani who takes centre stage, and then some. The San Marino striker first scores his side’s ninth goal with a powerful right-footed strike from distance, then takes the Bianconeri into double figures with a simple finish from a De Angelis assist in the 54th minute. It is still not over, because Aruci also completes his brace in the 57th minute from a Gregnanin assist. It finishes 11-1 to Murata, who thus claim the first trophy of the season. In addition to the cup, the Bianconeri also secure the Givova Player of The Match award for the final’s best performer – a new feature for all finals this season, both in football and futsal. With four goals and as many standout plays, the accolade deservedly goes to Danilo Busignani.
