©FSGC/Novelli | Buda, Bonetti and Perazzini shine for Domagnano

San Marino Championship - 14 September 2025

League: Tre Fiori and Domagnano unstoppable and still perfect

An emphatic win for Tre Fiori, who back up the three points from their opening outing by putting four past San Giovanni in the first half alone – effectively putting the game to bed before the interval. It takes the Gialloblù less than 100 seconds to break the deadlock, Bernardi blasting home after being picked out by Pini, with Prandelli producing a smart, elegant dummy to open up the space. The move for the second is far more chaotic, with a loose ball bouncing around the Rossoneri box before Benedettini turns it into gold on 8 minutes. Two more goals arrive after the half-hour mark: Prandelli makes it 3-0 from close range, capitalising on excellent work from Scarcella and the huge gaps left by the San Giovanni back line. The fourth is again the work of Benedettini, who races down the flank on 38 minutes and beats Casadei at his near post. Despite further chances, there are no goals after the break.

Joining Tre Penne and Tre Fiori at the top, also with a 100% record, are Domagnano. After putting four past Pennarossa, the Wolves go one better with five against Libertas. The Granata are far too passive in dealing with Bonetti’s run in behind, perfectly timed onto Santi’s through ball for the opener on 18 minutes. There is no denying the part played by Alessandro Maggioli in the incident that gifts Osayande the equaliser at the start of the second half. Domagnano continue to look the better side and Amati finds the winning cards from the bench: Perazzini ghosts in behind everyone from a Fusco corner to restore the lead. On 82 minutes Babboni nets the third, making the most of a tremendous piece of individual skill from Bonetti. Libertas, however, need less than 30 seconds to get back into it, with Osayande on target again. Pushing the Giallorossi towards victory is a crazy episode with Manzaroli at the heart of it in both senses: first with a last-ditch in extremis sortie to cut out a counter-attack, then with a disastrous piece of distribution – presenting the ball to Perazzini for a brace to remember. Capping off Domagnano’s four-goal salvo in style is captain Buda, whose powerful, precise right-footed strike finds the top corner just seconds before the final whistle.

On an afternoon of braces, Ben Kacem’s double seals Fiorentino’s first win of the season. The forward, back in Rossoblù after spells with Pennarossa, Libertas and Cosmos, proves decisive again one of his former sides. The opener is a wonderful goal, born of a perfectly timed run in behind onto Bottoni’s long ball and a superb first touch that takes out Lazzarini’s ill-judged rush from his line. A major error in possession on the edge of his own box by Ricci, meanwhile, puts paid to Pennarossa’s hopes of a draw. On 86 minutes, Diop wins the ball on the edge of the area and lays it on a plate for Ben Kacem to tap into an empty net for his second and Fiorentino’s clincher.
