BKN301 Championship: La Fiorita celebrate in the 90+3rd minute, a single goal is enough for Murata as well

La Fiorita find a last-gasp goal that allows them to stay level with Virtus at the top with a perfect record. Manfredini’s side make it four wins from four deep into stoppage time, and the decisive strike bears the signature of Guidi, quickest to react and turn the ball in after the crossbar had sent back Jacopo Semprini’s effort. In this way the resistance of Juvenes-Dogana is finally broken at the end of a match that seemed destined to finish 0-0, but instead turns into a second consecutive defeat for Amati’s team after the loss to Virtus. Just one goal is also enough for Murata to stay in touch with the frontrunners, as they overcome San Giovanni in Domagnano thanks to Paseli’s headed finish from a corner. Tre Penne, by contrast, decide to run riot to cement their place in the top three. Ceci’s team make it three wins in a row with a tennis-style scoreline: 6-1. Yet it was Faetano who struck first almost immediately, with Acquarelli converting a penalty in the 2nd minute. Just after the half-hour mark, Imre Badalassi restores parity for the Biancoazzurri. Then, in the second half, another penalty proves the turning point: Righini converts it, later joined on the scoresheet by Scarponi, Ceccaroli and Cecchetti, all coming off the bench, while in the meantime Imre Badalassi had completed his brace to make it 3-1 to Tre Penne. Faetano remain on zero points, just like Pennarossa, who are beaten fairly comfortably by Tre Fiori. Eric Fedeli breaks the deadlock on 20 minutes. Cecconi doubles the lead in the closing stages of the first half. Well into the second period, Boldini applies the finishing touch to a victory that is made even easier to manage by De Biagi’s sending-off (second yellow card) for De Falco’s men. Domagnano get off the mark in the table, and for a long stretch seem on course to celebrate their first win of the season, only to have to settle for a draw that still leaves a bitter taste. This is also because Rossi’s side are forced to play for more than 20 minutes a man down after Angelini is sent off (second yellow card), by which time Folgore had already cancelled out the Wolves’ opener from Perazzini through Sartori. Despite Domagnano’s sustained pressure, there are no further twists in the tale. This is the still partial picture after Matchday 4 of the league:
