Futsal: Pennarossa roar as Folgore beaten 6-1

Matchday seven of the 2025-26 San Marino Futsal Championship saw a big win for Pennarossa, who at the Multieventi swept past the challenge posed by Folgore. Novembrini’s side found the net six times, with five different players getting on the scoresheet. The opening goal from Toccaceli was cancelled out by the temporary 1-1, signed for Folgore by Bacciocchi. After the interval Pennarossa were back in front thanks to Oddone’s strike, scored in the 22nd minute.

In the second half the Biancorossi from Chiesanuova pulled away, virtually sealing the win inside the first ten minutes. Verri both opened and closed the scoring in the half with his brace, completed in the 47th minute after the 3-1 goal, which had arrived less than two minutes into the restart. In between, Ceccoli and captain Maiani also took their share of the spotlight, likewise contributing to the final 6-1 scoreline. It is a fourth win in seven matches for Pennarossa, who move back closer to Tre Penne and La Fiorita. The leading duo are further away, with Virtus on maximum points (21) and Murata (19) five points ahead. Nothing doing for Folgore, who curiously remain in eighth place, level with the other two sides from the Castello di Serravalle: Juvenes-Dogana and Cosmos.
