San Marino and adidas: new National Team kits unveiled through the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme

In the coming weeks, ten European national teams will take the field in brand-new kits created in partnership with adidas – the new supplier of the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme. Launched in 2007, this programme provides match and training wear to UEFA member associations, ensuring that their teams can step onto the pitch in top-quality kits that respect and reflect their footballing culture and history. For the next two seasons, the national teams of Andorra, Belarus, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Malta and San Marino will wear adidas – with unique, bespoke designs developed in close collaboration with each of the associations involved.

The Titani are thus set to wear adidas again, just under ten years since the last time, once more through the UEFA KAS project. The San Marino National Team, Under-21s and futsal national team will, for the next two seasons, wear a primary white shirt featuring light-blue brushstrokes across the chest and flanks. The same light blue is also present on the collar and sleeves, combined with a navy blue used for the National Team crest, the adidas logo and the three iconic shoulder stripes. The away kit will see San Marino continue with navy blue, this time predominantly in a solid colour, apart from a broad two-tone band (royal blue and light blue) running across the entire upper chest and converging in the centre to form a sort of “V”. The logos, as well as the shoulder stripes, appear in white – a colour which, together with light blue, also features on the collar and sleeve areas.

The UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme plays a key role in supporting national associations by funding access to high-performance sportswear tailored to their needs. Following a tender process that focused on criteria such as product quality and affordability, as well as kit customisation and a strong track record in delivering similar projects, adidas was selected. The European national associations participating in the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme will also benefit from adidas Locker Room, a service offering a wide range of solutions for the design and ordering of customised teamwear.
